A reminder that the choir will be rehearsing on WEDNESDAY evenings (during term time) from September 2025.

The change came about when Liam, our hugely respected and much-liked MD, was offered the prestigious role of Assistant Director of Music at Coventry Cathedral: this is one of the UK’s foremost cathedrals for music, with one of the most important modern cathedral organs in Europe - and pretty much his dream-job!

A poll of members was held to see whether the choir wanted to a) find a new MD, b) move to Mondays at a different venue, or c) move to Wednesdays at the current Life Church venue.

Nobody chose a) as the only response and all but 2 who voted on a day change voted for c).

We are sad that a few may be unable to make Wednesdays, but we are also hopeful that others, who may not have been able to make Tuesdays (when several other local choirs rehearse) may now have the option to join us - and we would welcome them!
